Labor Day weekend in 2013 our neighbor’s eight year old cat was diagnosed with liver failure and the vet didn’t have any idea what had caused it. After a few days on GastroElm Plus it made a full recovery and roams the neighborhood to this day without any recurring issues.
Since then we have helped numerous cats who have gone through the same scenario. In most cases, no underlying cause is ever uncovered. We recently received the following testimonial from a customer who went through the same ordeal.
——–
In mid-March, my husband and I returned from a vacation to find one of our cats, Edison, very sick. He is 6 years old and prior to us leaving on a 1 week vacation, he was the picture of feline health. However, when we returned from vacation he was skin and bones, didn’t appear to be eating, and when we did finally get him to eat, he immediately threw it all up. He was extremely weak and lethargic, and his sweet personality seemed to be gone.
We got him to the vet, where they found his liver was failing and his red blood cell count was extremely low. They really didn’t have an answer and after he spent 3 nights at the vet’s office, they sent him home with antibiotics, steroids and the instructions to try any food we could to get him to eat.
On the day we brought him home, my husband was searching the internet for answers, and he came upon a testimonial video where someone had a cat with very similar symptoms. After being sent home from the vet essentially to die, he started using GastroElm Plus and the cat improved in a matter of days.
We figured it couldn’t hurt to try…and when my husband ordered it he wrote a note asking about expedited shipping. The next morning, you called him and spent an extremely generous amount of time with him discussing Edison’s condition and providing us some things we could do for him while we waited for the GastroElm Plus to arrive.
The GastroElm Plus came very quickly and we started him on 3 doses a day per your instructions. After about 3 days, we started to see a little sparkle in his eyes again. He came out from the blanket he had been sleeping under all day and was a little more social. He started eating on his own. For the rest of the week he slowly progressed. After about 10 days we weighed him, and he had put on over a half a pound (he’s a tiny cat so that much weight was great!). He started jumping and climbing again and playing with his canine and feline brothers.
We finally took him today for a follow up visit to the vet. (Over the course of this experience we actually changed vets.) At our new vet today, he was given a perfectly clean bill of health. His blood work was all perfect, he was back to his original weight and our new vet basically said the GastroElm saved him. She believes the original vet’s diagnosis of autoimmune hemolytic anemia was wrong.
Edison is only 6 years old and we weren’t ready to lose him. We are 100% certain he is still with us today because of your product. I can’t thank you enough for the special time you took with my husband and the care you showed for our pet over the phone. It’s obvious you are doing this to help people – and we wanted you to know you truly helped our little family.
With much gratitude,
Dave & Gina
p.s. On a side note, our mixed breed dog has a very sensitive stomach and diarrhea more often than we would like. At the first sign of loose stools we give him some GastroElm and the problem disappears. This is also a great relief!
